This Privacy Policy explains information associated with visiting Recipes360, contacting us, and using our comments and recipe features. Recipes360 is a recipes and food-guides website operated from the United States. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
Information you provide
When you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message and attachments. Our contact form asks for your name, email address and subject, with space for an optional message. Form submissions are delivered to our site administrator by email so that we can receive and respond to your inquiry.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, medical records or other sensitive information. Our contact form is not intended for confidential medical or dietary consultations.
Comments and recipe ratings
When you leave a comment, WordPress collects the information entered in the comment form, together with your IP address and browser user-agent information used in processing comments and helping detect abuse. Recipe ratings submitted with comments are associated with those comments.
Your published comment, display name, rating and any website link or profile image displayed with it can be visible to other visitors. Your email address is not intended to appear publicly with your comment. Do not include information in a comment that you do not want others to see.
The site has avatar display enabled. WordPress can send a hashed version of your email address to the Gravatar service to check for an associated profile image. Gravatar is provided by Automattic; see Automattic’s Privacy Policy for its practices.
Technical information and website delivery
Delivering a webpage requires communication between your browser and the servers supplying that page and its resources. Those requests disclose technical information such as your IP address, requested resource and browser information to the service receiving the request. Website and email systems can also generate operational records used to deliver communications, diagnose errors and address security or abuse concerns.
Information entered into site features is processed through the software and service infrastructure supporting those features. For example, contact messages pass through email systems, while published comments and their associated information are stored by the website.
Cookies and browser controls
If you choose the option to remember your details when commenting, WordPress uses cookies to remember your name, email address and website for later comments. You can decline that option. WordPress’s standard comment-detail cookies normally last approximately one year unless cleared sooner or changed by the site’s configuration.
Cookies and similar technologies associated with embedded services are governed by those providers’ practices. You can use your browser settings to view, delete or restrict cookies and site storage. Blocking cookies can affect some website or embedded-player features. Clearing a browser cookie does not delete information already submitted in a comment, form or email.
Embedded videos and other external services
Some articles include YouTube videos. Loading or interacting with an embedded player connects your browser to YouTube and Google. Depending on your browser, account and provider settings, those services may receive technical information, use cookies or similar technologies, and associate activity with an account when you are signed in.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and use the privacy controls offered by Google and your browser. Embedded content is supplied by its provider, not stored entirely within Recipes360.
When you follow a link to another website, that website’s privacy policy applies to your activity there. A link does not mean that Recipes360 controls the other website’s collection or use of information.
Public content, service access and legal requests
Published comments and ratings are public. Contact messages are directed to the site rather than published automatically. Website administrators and the systems used to operate the relevant feature can process information necessary for that feature.
Information may also be subject to a valid legal demand or disclosure required by applicable law. This policy does not limit any rights you have under applicable privacy law.
Retention and security
Information does not necessarily disappear when you close your browser. Published comments and their associated records can remain on the site, and correspondence can remain in the receiving mailbox. Copies may also exist in operational records or backups.
You can contact us to ask about information connected with your interactions or to request its deletion. Whether information can be deleted depends on the information involved, our ability to identify it, applicable obligations and any lawful reason for retaining it. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
Your privacy questions and requests
Email [email protected] to ask about information you submitted or to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. Include the email address used to contact us and, for a comment, the relevant page link and approximate submission date. Do not send unnecessary identity documents or sensitive information in your initial message.
Depending on your location and the law applicable to the processing, you may have additional rights, including rights to object, restrict certain processing, receive a copy of information, withdraw consent or complain to a relevant privacy authority. The availability and scope of these rights depend on the applicable law. We may need proportionate information to verify a request before disclosing or changing personal information.
Browser cookie controls and third-party account settings are separate from requests concerning information held by Recipes360.
Children’s information
Parents and guardians who believe that a child has submitted personal information to Recipes360 should contact [email protected]. Please identify the relevant interaction without providing unnecessary additional information about the child. Children should not post private information in public comments.
Changes to this policy
Updates to this policy will appear on this page with a revised date. A change to this page does not remove rights granted by applicable law. Where additional notice or consent is legally required for a change in processing, that requirement continues to apply.
